2023 TONS VALLEY, UTTARAKHAND

The third edition of the Warrior's Path (4th-7th May 2023) was conducted at the Tons Valley in Uttarakhand. The program pushed participants to their limits over four unforgettable days. They started with cliff jumping into the Ganga river, conquering fears as they took the plunge. They then battled the rapids while rafting and relied on teamwork to navigate the turbulent waters. The survival night tested their endurance, as they underwent an anxious night anticipating the unknown. They camped in the jungle, bonding over stories by the fire under a sky glittering with stars. Through it all, participants discovered an inner strength they never knew they had. The trek along the creek and heart-to-heart conversations were moments of truth about one other. They left transformed - the power of facing their deepest fears and forging friendships through living outside their comfort zone. The Warriors Path broke them down and built them back up - a journey they will hold closely as they embrace their inner warrior and face the world.

WHAT PARTICIPANTS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT 2023 TONS VALLEY, UTTARAKHAND

I stumbled into the 4th edition of Warrior's Path almost by accident and am so grateful that I did. I went into it with no particular agenda except curiosity, and perhaps questions even I wasn't aware of. I think we all have those, and tend to block them out in the day-to-day. Vikram Badhwar, who conducted the programme, is a brilliant outdoor experiential educator and a gifted storyteller, with a warmth that effortlessly draws people out. The programme is designed to commune with nature, each other and most importantly, ourselves, through shared adventures, discussion and introspection. This isn't therapy, and it won't change your life. But it will help you drown out the noise and gain clarity of mind. I came away feeling grounded and recentred. Navel-gazing in a stunning, peaceful location, with a healthy dose of adrenalin, and time for stillness - that's how I'd sum it up. I highly recommend it - you don't need to be a 'warrior' or looking for direction in some aspect of your life; you don't need an agenda. If you're a person with a degree of self-awareness and a desire for growth, you will benefit from this.
